IF YOU’RE AN ENTREPRENEUR, SOLOPRENEUR, OR HAVE A SIDE-GIG, YOU’VE PROBABLY EXPERIENCED HOW OVERWHELMING & CONSUMING IT CAN BE TO TAKE ACTION & ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS

But you’re a BOSS! So chances are you’re learning how to build and grow your successful business despite the overwhelm! Working for yourself can be tough, especially if you’re new to business. Who do you turn to when Google doesn’t have the answers, or your Facebook group friends give you tons of contradictory advice? How do you know you’re spending your time doing the ‘right things’ and not just working to be busy?

  • MOST WOMEN TODAY WITH A NEW BUSINESS OR SIDE-GIG

  • Maybe have a little business training, unfortunately almost zero have any entrepreneurship training. Today’s market is overflowing with programs to teach you how write a business plan, create a budget, learn social media etc. I know because I’ve been a business consultant and trainer working with and training new and blossoming entrepreneurs.

I FOUND A GAP! Standard business training starts and ends with teaching ‘business skills.’ But what they’re not teaching… are the skills required to be an entrepreneur.

    • Do you have the self-discipline it takes?

    • Are your days designed for productivity or are they chaotic?

    • Do you have a method to improve your strength of mind and build your skill set?

    • Can you build the structure critical to entrepreneurial success?

YOU DESERVE TO BUILD THE BUSINESS OF YOUR DREAMS WITHOUT THE STRESS AND TEARS

Is your plate so full you’re working seven days a week to meet deadlines and quotas? Do your family and friends stalk you on social media because they haven’t seen or heard from you? Have you noticed your short-tempered? Snippy? Irritable? At some point unfortunately, most entrepreneurs have experienced some version of this!

And sadly, entrepreneurs with little to zero training will answer Yes, to most of these questions…Are you so stressed out you’re working on what ‘you think’ needs completed or what makes you comfortable….and not on what will move you forward or pay you? Are you subconsciously sabotaging yourself? Is it Entrepreneurial Groundhog Day again? Or, are you simply dreaming of the day your task list is short enough to take time for yourself?

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH FEAR? OVERWHELM? UNCERTAINTY? PROCRASTINATION?

I certainly did early in my business, along with low self-confidence. Looking for answers, I followed many of the traditional methods that help women [like us] become better businesswomen…but I was still a Hot Mess!

So I created a different path to personal growth and confidence. I went from a scattered hot mess with too much to do and not enough time to do it all...to a structured and self-disciplined boss, by using the quickest and simplest methods available for business success and improving self-discipline.

I’m CaraJoy

Online Business Builder & Entrepreneurship Educator

I understand how difficult it is to start and grow a business. And especially as a solopreneur.

I started She’s Online in 2015 out of necessity because my honey sold his business and we traveled in a 40 foot RV for a year. What was I going to do to keep my mind sharp? Entrepreneurship was a class I took as a requirement in business school, NOT the lifestyle I dreamed of pursuing.

For the first two years I worked with a freelancer mentality. Work fit into my schedule when it could, I had a loose method to complete my tasks, but nothing sustainable. I would get frustrated when there was a bottleneck…and there were many bottlenecks! But I was making a go of it!

Slowly I signed new clients, thinking this was the best way to avoid stress. I hadn’t created a sustainable business because… I became a scattered hot-mess with too much to do and not enough time to do it all; being my own BOSS was never going to work out!

I wanted to lower my stress level, and the only thing I found successful was creating a structure to work in. The wins were small initially, but they were becoming more frequent. An unintended benefit came from implementing structure… it forced me to become self-disciplined. Once I recognized the power structure and self-discipline had I took my behavior game to the next level.

It’s been over six years since deciding to start a business…it was a long shot for sure!! Between my ADHD and Autoimmune disorder, I felt like the odds were against me…but I was determined to make my business grow and become one of the successful women I admired from a far.

I started She’s Online as a side-gig. Even back then, there wasn’t anyone around to answer my questions…like How do I know I’m talking to the right prospects? Am I solving the right problems and saying the right things? How can I structure my day, so I don’t get [too] distracted? Why can’t I be as organized and disciplined as ‘her?’

It’s been a winding road, full of accomplishments, failures, mistakes made, and lessons learned. For too long, I would let obstacles, bad things that were going on in my life and business affect my day-to-day life. It was depleting my enthusiasm and made me second-guess myself far too often!

But I knew! If I was ever going to make my business work, I’d need to acquire the tools and learn the skills to overcome procrastination, avoidance, disorganization, and more!

I firmly believe you should learn from those who’ve succeeded before you. So I revisited my business heroes, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

And here’s where my SUPERPOWER being able to recognize patterns, saved me. I discovered an unwritten CEO playbook that included specific habits, behaviors, structures, and processes.

Again, if I was going to make my business work, I had to learn how to be self-disciplined, how to prioritize business tasks, know what projects and clients to accept, and those to decline. Then… I had to implement this and track my progress so I had the data to prove what was [and wasn’t] working.

What I know from a lifetime of goal setting and unfinished to-do lists is, when you don’t know what to do…just do 1 thing!

I found one small thing that I could do, JUST ONE task. And complete it. After a short period of time, what I noticed was, these tiny wins gave me momentum. I would be so excited that I finished one thing, that I did another JUST ONE thing. This is how I began implementing Microhabits into my business. It was twenty years earlier when I learned about and tried my first microhabit; I lost 40+ pounds using microhabits…and have been using them ever since.

Having two Criminal Justice Degrees specializing in behaviors, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and experience working on and managing political campaigns provided me with the skills necessary to develop a process, and implement a structure I could Flourish in, that did not trigger my fight, flight, or freeze response.

My system has been tested, proven effective and used by many of today’s experts in brain science and self-improvement; However, it’s designed for and used by businesswomen like you and me working in today’s chaotic and sometimes lonely environment.
